In the PROTEIN research project industries, knowledge institutes and other organisations from across Europe develop smart solutions for a healthy lifestyle. PROTEIN is the acronym for ‘PeRsOnalized nutriTion for hEalthy livINg’. The project is co-funded by the European Union (Horizon 2020).

In PROTEIN scientists conduct research on how to promote a healthy diet and more physical activity using the latest technologies. The scientific outcomes will be used to develop advanced personalisation tools for nutrition and physical activity plans. The use of wearables, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning technology makes it possible to tailor the advice to anyone’s personal needs and preferences. In this way, the PROTEIN research project the healthy choice becomes the easy choice.
AgriFood Capital BV collaborates with companies from Brabant in conducting pilot projects to test the PROTEIN app in Living Labs. AgriFood Capital BV is also coordinating the monitoring and evaluation of all pilots performed within PROTEIN.
